Decide which university to go   Entering university abroad

Above is a summary of the key points of the schedule when aiming to enter a US or UK university after graduating from high school in Japan.
This is only a rough outline of the process for entering a US or UK university after graduating from high school in Japan, and there are differences depending on universities and faculties. Therefore, be sure to check the details on each university's website or in their university guide. It is important to decide early on your future goals and the university you want to attend and take a program accordingly.

※This is a rough schedule based on entry in September/October. However, many overseas universities offer the chance to enroll every semester, so make sure you do your research on the universities you are interested in. If you have been at a Japanese university for at least one year, it is possible to enroll directly in an undergraduate course at a British university. In this case, always apply online through the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS), a unified application body. In some cases, you may be required to apply through UCAS even if you are applying for a foundation course attached to a university.
